Baton Rouge, LA : One dead in motorcycle wreck on Plank Road on Tuesday, 3rd April 2018

One person died Tuesday night in a crash involving a motorcycle near the Coca-Cola bottling plant on Plank Road, authorities said.

Crews responded to the scene around 8:15 p.m. and found one person dead on the scene, said Baton Rouge Emergency Medical Services spokesman Mike Chustz.

He said no one else was injured in the crash.

Baton Rouge police spokesman Sgt. L'Jean McKneely Jr. said the crash occurred in the 8300 block of Plank Road when a motorcycle ran into the back of a van.
