TROY, MO : An Eolia man was injured in a crash in Lincoln County on Wednesday, August 9, 2017

An Eolia man was injured in a Wednesday afternoon crash in Lincoln County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 2011 Dodge Caravan driven by Donnie Kinsler, 64, of Eolia, was stopped at a yield sign westbound on Route KK at U.S. 61 at 3:10 p.m. The patrol said a 2007 Chevrolet Uplander driven by Michael J. Pointer, 60, of Troy, and stopped behind the Caravan began moving forward and struck the rear of the Caravan.

Kinsler, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Lincoln County Ambulance to SSM St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis (West) with minor injuries.

The patrol was assisted by the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department.
