LAUREL, MT : Carbon County man identified in fatal crash near Laurel on Sunday, 26th August 2018

A Carbon County man has been identified as the victim of a head-on collision just south of Laurel.

Yellowstone County Coroner, Cliff Mahoney said Liam Morse, 21, died of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Calvin Jimmerson said Morse was struck head-on by an empty fuel truck.

Tpr. Jimmerson said Morse was driving a Suburban northbound on U.S. Highway 212 and swerved into the semi.

Morse was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the fuel truck was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
