Ingleside ,IL : Three people killed after fiery car crash in suburban Chicago on Wednesday morning ,August 26th 2015

Authorities say three people have died in a fiery car crash in a far northwestern suburb of Chicago.

Lake County sheriff's office Detective Christopher Covelli says a Kia Optima left the road around 2 a.m. Wednesday in Ingleside. The vehicle hit a tree and became engulfed in flames.

Covelli and fire officials say three people were found dead in the car.

The victims haven't been publicly identified. Covelli says the license plates attached to Optima don't belong to the car.

Ingleside is about 50 miles northwest of Chicago.
