TROY, IL : Multi-vehicle accident in Troy leaves 3 people injured on Monday, 2nd December, 2019

An early Monday morning multi-vehicle crash left one person seriously injured and a massive amount of debris on the Interstate 70 westbound ramp to southbound Interstate 55.
According to Illinois State Police Public Information Officer Josh Korando, at 5:12 a.m. Monday a semi-truck jack-knifed on the ramp, its trailer blocking the entire ramp. A few minutes later, a second semi-truck crashed into the first truck’s trailer, splitting it into pieces and causing the first truck to overturn.
The collision spread debris over the ramp and across nearby grassy areas.
