Thibodaux, LA : Raceland woman dies in a car accident on LA 1 near Four Point Road on Saturday night, June 27, 2015

A 36-year old woman from Raceland was killed in a single-car crash last night on La. 1 in Lafourche Parish, State Police Troop C spokesman Evan Harrell said.

Around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Mindy Boudreaux was traveling north in a 2008 Lincoln MKZ near Four Point Road, when for unknown reasons, her car veered off the right side of the road and struck a concrete driveway. The car ended up flipping on its roof and Boudreaux, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle, Harrell said.

Boudreaux was pronounced dead on the scene by the Lafourche Parish Coroner's Office. Impairment is not suspected, but toxicology tests are pending.
