A 16-year-old boy was killed Wednesday evening when his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck in the 2200 block of Jackson Avenue, Glade Township, Warren County, state police said.

Police did not release the boy's identity pending notification of family.

The crash occurred at about 6 p.m.

Police said the boy was traveling north on Jackson Avenue on a Suzuki motorcycle when he lost control in the middle of the roadway and collided with a Chevrolet Avalanche pickup, which was southbound on Jackson Avenue.

The boy was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The truck's driver, John S. Newton, 37, of Warren, was uninjured, police said.
