Charlotte, NC : Two people injuries after head-on collision in west Charlotte on Monday January 4 2016.

Two people are being treated for injuries after a Charlotte-Mecklenburg school bus was reportedly involved in a head-on collision in west Charlotte.
The collision happened along the 2600-block of Ashley Road around 3:45 p.m. Monday afternoon.
According to MEDIC, one person was taken to Carolinas Medical Center, in Charlotte, with serious injuries. Another person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools says the bus involved was Bus #381 from Allenbrook Elementary School. School officials say one student and one driver on board the bus at the time of the crash.
Tammy Moffett tells WBTV her seven year old granddaughter on the bus when it crashed.
My heart was just skipping beats. I was going crazy," Moffett said.
Moffett says her granddaughter wasn't injured, but she is sore tonight.
She said she flew across her seat. It wouldn't have happened if she had had a seat belt on," Moffett said.
Now she's pleading with CMS to install seat belts on their buses across the district.
They keep them safe in a school house, but anything can happen on the road," Moffett said.
