Hernando ,MS : Susan Overton and his daughter seriously injured after crashed head-on into a UPS truck on Thursday ,August 20 2015

The first happened around 4:30 a.m. Susan Overton, who was driving with her daughter, crashed head-on into a UPS truck.

DeSoto County investigators said Overton, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, was driving the wrong way on the interstate. It's not clear why she was traveling the wrong direction.

WMC Action News 5's Jerry Askin learned that Overton pleaded guilty to DUI in July 2011. It is unclear whether alcohol was a factor in Thursday's collision.

Overton and her daughter died in the crash. The UPS driver was not seriously injured.
