LAGRANGE, IN : Drunk driver crashes into ISP patrol car on Tuesday, 20th March 2018

An 18-year-old Wolcottville man was arrested Tuesday after he struck an Indiana State Police car was found to allegedly be intoxicated.

At approximately 12:15 a.m., Trooper Daniel Burkey was traveling westbound on U.S. 20 near State Road 9 in LaGrange when he observed a 2008 Infiniti traveling eastbound. Burkey alleged the car was being driven erratically. Burkey activated his emergency lights and turned around, the Infiniti was well ahead of him as it continued east.
