Vale, NC : One person dead after driver crosses center line, crashes into truck on Highway 10 near Cooksville Road Thursday afternoon, Sep 24, 2015

At least one person is dead after investigators say a vehicle crossed the center line and hit a truck head-on near Vale.

According to troopers, it happened along Highway 10 near Cooksville Road Thursday afternoon.

Investigators say the driver of a vehicle crossed the center line and hit a truck. The driver died in the crash.

The driver of the truck was transported, but is expected to be okay.

Troopers say Highway 10 is expected to be closed for some time, while they investigate.
