Augusta, GA : Deputies on scene of head-on collision on Gordon Highway on Thursday, 8th August 2019

Richmond County deputies have reopened part of Gordon Highway following a head-on collision earlier tonight at the intersection of Newmantown Road.

Injuries are reported but they are not believed to be life threatening at this time, the sheriff’s office said.

Motorists are asked to proceed with caution and be mindful of the deputies who are in the road directing traffic.
