Maryville, TN : A three-way car crash on West Lamar Alexander Parkway on February, Tuesday 13th 2018
A three-way car crash on West Lamar Alexander Parkway sent two people to the hospital Tuesday afternoon, though their injuries were not believed to be serious, according to Maryville Police Chief Tony Crisp.
Crisp said the accident happened just before 3 p.m. at the juncture of Montvale Road, Gary Hensley Drive and West Lamar Alexander Parkway. Alcoa resident Janeesa Crossing, 28, was headed west on West Lamar Alexander Parkway, and was attempting to make a left turn and drive south on Montvale Road.
Crossing failed to yield the right-of-way, and turned in front of 64-year-old Ralph Miller of Maryville, who was headed east on West Lamar Alexander Parkway. Miller’s vehicle struck Crossing’s car in the passenger side.
The impact caused Crossing’s car to strike a vehicle driven by Rebecca Peck, 46, of Maryville, who was northbound on Montvale Road and had stopped for a red light at the intersection.
