Odessa, TX : Two juveniles killed in wreck south of Midland on Sunday, October 23, 2016

Two boys riding a go-cart were killed Sunday during a collision with a full-size pickup south of Midland.
The juveniles were not identified but the Texas Department of Public Safety said they were pronounced dead at Midland Memorial Hospital following the crash that was reported at 6:53 p.m. and occurred 10 miles south of Midland.

A 2013 Ford F-150 truck driven by 39-year-old Michael W. Robinett, of Midland, was heading west on East County Road 120. A juvenile operator of the Kart Twister reportedly failed to yield the right-of-way to the moving pickup when it was leaving a driveway and pulled into the truck’s path, the DPS reported.

Robinett escaped injury. The DPS reported that neither of the juveniles wore helmets.
