Harris County, TX : Woman killed in truck crash in Harris County on Thursday November 5 2015

A woman driving an SUV died Thursday after the vehicle she was driving collided with a loaded logging truck about a mile north of Ellerslie on Georgia 85.
Harris County Coroner Joe Weldon said the identity of the woman will not be released at this time. The cause of death and whether there was a possible illness before the crash are pending further investigation.
Authorities at the scene said the trucker was taken to Midtown Medical Center in Columbus after the 1:20 p.m. crash north of the city.
The logging truck was northbound when the southbound Honda Passport driven by the woman apparently crossed into the northbound lane and collided head-on with the logging truck. Authorities said the truck attempted to avoid the SUV before the collision but wasn’t successful.
A fire ignited in the Passport after the collision. Damage to both vehicles was extensive.
Logs spilled off the side of the highway after the collision.
Traffic was diverted from the area until the spilled logs were loaded onto a another truck and both vehicles were removed.
The crash is under investigation by the Georgia State Patrol. No other details were available late Thursday.
