Sherman, TX : Sherman collision sends both drivers to hospital on Friday, 30th September 2016

Two people were transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle collision Friday in Sherman.

A white Chevrolet Impala turned northbound onto South Heritage Parkway from West Center Street and was struck by another white Impala. The second Impala rear-ended the first vehicle, causing it to spin-out and enter the ditch on the east side of the roadway. The struck vehicle came to a stop facing southbound as the second vehicle stopped in the oncoming traffic lane. The collision occurred at about 10:50 a.m.

Sherman police and firefighters responded to the scene, and ambulances transported both female drivers to Wilson N. Jones Regional Medical Center for injuries that were not life threatening. Each vehicle had only one occupant.
