A man and the unborn baby of a 15-year-old girl died after a car in a collision veered onto a sidewalk Thursday in north Phoenix, police said.

The two-vehicle crash occurred about 11:15 a.m. near 35th Avenue and Bell Road, said Sgt. Maggie Cox, a Phoenix police spokeswoman.

Bystanders said a red Ford Mustang collided with a black Dodge that was headed west on Bell. The Dodge then ran onto the sidewalk and into a bus stop, where it hit several people.
