Reno, NV : 21-year-old pedestrian severely injured in vehicle crash on Friday January 1 2016.

A vehicle collided with a man in Reno early Friday, severely injuring a 21-year-old intoxicated pedestrian, police said.
The crash occurred about 1:20 a.m. at McCarran Boulevard and Socrates Drive.
The pedestrian, whose name was not released, was taken to a Reno hospital where he was being treated for life-threatening injuries, police said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
