Charlotte, N.C : Drivers in fatal southwest Charlotte crash on Thursday night, October 30, 2014

One person was killed in a car crash in southwest Charlotte Thursday night. The wreck happened at 6:22 p.m. in the 1200 block of Billy Graham Parkway near Westmont Drive. James David Brabble, 53, is dead after he crashed his Chrysler Concorde into the back of a Ford tow truck, driven by 39-year-old Darrell Wayne Wolfe. Police say both men were wearing their seat belts during the collision. Wolfe had minor injuries and Brabble was pronounced dead by Medic nearly two minutes after the crash, at 6:24 p.m. Investigators say Brabble was heading east on Billy Graham Parkway in the right lane when he smashed into the back of the pick-up truck, which was stopped due to heavy traffic.
