QUINCY, MA : Man dies in crash at Quincy Mall parking lot on Monday, 16th July 2018

Quincy Police said man on a motorized tricycle died in a crash with a SUV in the Quincy Mall parking lot on Monday morning.

Police responded to a motor vehicle crash at 10:31 a.m. They said they found a tan Ford Explorer and a blue motorized tricycle had collided in the mall's north parking lot. The driver of the tricycle, Paul Porter, 64, of Quincy, was pronounced dead at the crash scene according to Adams County Coroner John Myers. John H. Bohnenblust IV, 40, Quincy, was driving the Explorer.

Police reports indicate that both vehicles were traveling outside of the parking lot's driving lanes. When the vehicles collided Porter was ejected from the motorized tricycle, struck the driver's side hood and windshield of the SUV and came to rest on his back on the Explorer.
