Brooklyn, NY : 67-year-old man in critical condition after being hit by minivan on Saturday night, August 27, 2016

A 67-year-old man was in critical condition Saturday night after he was struck by a minivan moving in reverse on a one-way Brooklyn street.

The man was crossing 43rd St . near Fort Hamilton Parkway in Borough Park at 6 p.m. when a 44-year-old driver reversed his silver Honda minivan, slamming into him, police said.

The victim was rushed to Maimonides Hospital with severe head trauma.

The driver was arrested for not having a license, a police source said, and cops were testing him to determine if he was intoxicated at the time of the crash.
