LAS VEGAS, NV : Driver traveling 'at high rate of speed' before fatal rollover crash on Saturday, 27th January 2024

A 42-year-old woman died Saturday in a single-vehicle rollover crash that also left a juvenile passenger with injuries local police described as "substantial."

This happened at approximately 7:23 p.m. on Hollywood Boulevard, south of Desert Inn Road.

Police say the woman was behind the wheel of a 2019 Kia Sportage and traveling "at a high rate of speed" as the car approached "a sweeping left-hand turn."
