HOWELL COUNTY, MI : MO man seriously injured in crash on April, Wednesday 12th 2017

A Missouri man is recovering after a crash Wednesday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened in Howell County near Willow Springs on Missouri Highway 137 around 11:45 p.m.

Kyle A. Sherman, 24, of Willow Springs was driving a 2009 Scion xB north when it went off the right side of the road.

Sherman reportedly overcorrected and the hatchback went back across the road where it traveled off the left side. The Scion then hit a culvert and overturned several times, according to MSHP.

Emergency personnel first transported Sherman to a hospital in West Plains with serious injuries before he was transferred to a hospital in Springfield.

The crash report states the man was not wearing a seat belt.
