Pearl ,MS : 66-year-old Corby Lee Usry killed in head on collision on Sunday afternoon ,July 26th 2015

Pearl Police Captain Brian McGairty confirmed one man died in a head on collision Sunday afternoon.

McGairty said the accident occurred around 2:10 p.m. on Old Whitfield Road near A-1 Kendrick Fence.

We're told a 25-year-old female was driving a Harley Davidson with her father.

The man, identified as 66-year-old Corby Lee Usry, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The unidentified female was transported to a local hospital with severe, but non-life threatening injuries.

McGairty said the other vehicle involved was a 2013 Kia Soul, occupied by three people.

He said the front passenger of the vehicle was transported for evaluation.
