The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating a deadly hit-and-run involving an electric scooter in northeast Charlotte.
CMPD officers responded to 911 calls regarding the incident around 9:45 p.m. Sunday, June 9, in the 5800 block of North Tryon Street. CMPD said Curtis Bing, 62, was found suffering from serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
