GREAT BARRINGTON, MA : Great Barrington crash victim flown to Baystate Medical Center near 333 State Road on Thursday, 30th January, 2020

A male, extricated by firefighters after his vehicle hit a utility pole and ended up in a stream early Thursday night, was flown to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.
Fire Chief Charles Burger told Western Mass News that the victim, the sole occupant, was unresponsive when first responders arrived on scene. Information on his condition was not immediately available.The crash occurred near 333 State Road about 6 p.m. Police are investigating.
