Danville , NH : Danville man killed when truck hits pole, overturns on Friday September 16 2016

A Danville man was killed Friday morning when the pickup truck he was driving hit a telephone pole and overturned.State police said Donald Leathers, 55, died in the single-vehicle crash on G.H. Carter Drive.

Investigators said it's unclear why Leathers' truck left the roadway about 8:50 a.m. and hit the pole. A preliminary investigation indicates that neither excessive speed nor alcohol was to blame, police said.

Police said it appears Leathers over-corrected when his pickup drifted off the right side of the road. The truck overturned and ended up on its roof after it hit the pole.
