Rehoboth Beach, DE : 5 hurt after 'erratic driver' crashes into 7 vehicles, trying to flee crash, in Rehoboth Beach on Saturday, 7th July 2018

Five people were injured after police said an erratic driver crashed into seven vehicles while trying to flee the scene of an accident Saturday evening in Rehoboth Beach.

According to the Rehoboth Beach Police Department, the incident occurred just after 6 p.m., Saturday as a 45-year-old Middletown man was trying to back his pickup truck out of a parking space along the northbound shoulder of Rehoboth Avenue, just east of Second Street.
