SACRAMENTO, CA : 1 detained, 1 at large after marijuana burglary leads to police chase in Sacramento on Monday, 30th September 2024

A police chase after an alleged burglary at a marijuana business ended in a crash early Monday morning in Rosemont, police said. One suspect was reportedly detained and two are still at large after the incident, which sent a driver not involved with the crime to the hospital with major injuries, according to law enforcement.

Around 4:45 a.m., police officers were engaged in a pursuit of a BMW traveling northbound on South Watt Avenue, approaching Manlove Road, according to the California Highway Patrol's East Sacramento office. The BMW was occupied by a driver and two passengers; they were all men, police said.
