Fulton County man killed in Monday night crash

A Smithfield man is dead following a Monday night crash near Vermont,Illinois State Police said David S. Jones, 48, was traveling eastbound on County Road 35 at County Road 13 when he failed to stop at a stop sign and was hit by a south bound Mercedes.
