A motorcyclist was seriously injured when a car turned in front of him on the city's south side and the vehicles hit each other Monday night.

The crash happened about 5:45 p.m. on Miller Park Way at W. Lincoln Ave., according to a Milwaukee police news release issued Tuesday morning.

The driver of the car, a 31-year-old West Allis man, was traveling north on Miller Park Way when he turned left in front of the southbound motorcyclist, a 47-year-old Milwaukee man.

Police say the motorcyclist was taken to a hospital. No further details were available about his condition at this time.
