Shallotte, NC : Man dies in two-vehicle Leland crash on Tuesday, December, 5th 2017

A 77-year-old Bolton man died Monday after his pickup was struck by an SUV at U.S. 74/76 and Maco Road in Leland.
The accident occurred just before 11:30 a.m. when Donald Fortson turned his white 2008 Chevrolet Silverado left onto Maco Road and was struck by a 2008 Toyota Highlander driven by 64-year-old Robert Hall of Matthews.
Fortson, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from his pickup and pronounced dead at the scene, North Carolina State Highway Patrol Trooper D. Morgan said.
