Lawrence County, AR : Brian Tat Pieri, 51, killed in crash on U.S. Highway 67, south of Hoxie early Wednesday, February 3, 2016

Arkansas State Police have identified a man killed in an early morning crash in Lawrence County.

The crash happened on U.S. Highway 67, south of Hoxie, shortly before 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Brian Tat Pieri, 51, of Alicia was northbound when his Chevy pickup truck crossed the center line and hit a Freightliner semi-truck head on, according to Senior Corporal Jimmy Danley's crash report.

Pieri was killed in the crash.

The semi driver, 37-year-old Armel Behrem of St. Louis, was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge with unspecified injuries.
