Cleveland , OH : Two Officers were injured after Semi and Cleveland police cruiser Crash at east side of Cleveland on Monday afternoon , January 26th 2015

Officials are investigating a crash involving a semi and a Cleveland police cruiser in Cleveland's east side Monday afternoon.

WKYC was told it happened at East 152th Street and Darwin Avenue.

Police said the air bags in the police cruiser deployed during the incident. Both officers were "conscious" at the time they were taken to MetroHealth Medical Center.

One officer was in serious condition, and the other officer was in stable condition.

Their conditions have been upgraded and both are expected to be discharged from the hospital later this evening

It's unclear the condition of the semi driver. The

cause of the crash remains under investigation.
