Orlando, FL : Pedestrian killed by hit and run driver in Orange County on Friday, June 6, 2014

A 56-year-old man was killed early this morning by a hit and run driver in Orange County, Florida Highway Patrol said.

Troopers said, an unknown vehicle was heading eastbound on Taft Vineland Road near Sidney Haynes Road, just after mid-night on Friday. An unknown part of the vehicle struck and killed the man who was walking or standing with a bicycle.

The driver of the vehicle immediately fled the crash scene leaving the man to die along the edge of the road. Troopers have not identified man, pending notification of next of kin.

Currently, troopers have no information on the scumbag who was driving the vehicle.
