Police in Salisbury, working with information provided by witnesses, have charged a Salisbury woman with hit and run with property damage for an incident that occurred in the Harris-Teeter parking lot.
According to the report, Marsha Karin Hyll, of Salisbury, was trying to park her Honda CRV in a parking space at the grocery store on August 30 when she struck a Ford F-150 truck that was unoccupied at the time. Damage was estimated at $300.
According to witnesses, Hyll drove away without stopping. Witnesses were able to get the tag number from Hyll's Honda and police were notified.
Hyll, who lists here occupation as a doctor with the VA Medical Center, was charged and released on a written promise to appear in court on September 28.
