Motorcyclist killed in crash in northern Idaho

Idaho State Police say a northern Idaho man has died after losing control of his motorcycle.Police say 53-year-old Jeffry H. Muir of Moscow was traveling west on State Highway 8 on a 2011 Harley Davidson Fatboy at about 9 p.m. on Saturday.Police say Muir attempted to pass a vehicle but failed to negotiate a curve and went of the south edge of the highway.Muir was ejected from the motorcycle and died at the scene.Police say he wasn't wearing a helmet.
