Cambridge, OH : Motorcycle crash claims Wheeling man on Monday September 5 2016

A West Virginia man was killed Monday night when the motorcycle he was riding crashed on Blaine Barton Road near U.S. 40 east of St. Clairsville.

Robert Sutton, 59, of Wheeling, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

According to the St. Clairsville post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 10:40 p.m.

Sutton was reportedly riding east on Blaine Barton Road (Belmont County Road 10) when he drove off the left side of the roadway causing the motorcycle to overturn.

Sutton, who was not wearing a helmet, was ejected from the motorcycle.
