WATERBURY, CT : Multi-car crash snarls traffic in Waterbury on Tuesday, 6th November 2018

A multi-car crash on Tuesday afternoon that caused delays on the westbound side of Interstate 84 has been cleared by authorities.

The crash was reported at about 2:44 p.m. and caused three lanes of the highway to be shut down between exits 18 and 20. Rain had recently passed through the area.

It’s unclear if there were any injuries stemming from the collision. State police and firefighters were called to the scene, but the accident has since been cleared.

Traffic was backed up for about two miles on the highway.
