Center Star, AL : One injured in U.S. 72 motorcycle wreck on Thursday morning, June 16, 2016

One person was injured and flown to Huntsville Hospital this morning after he was involved in a motorcycle wreck, officials said.

Emergency personnel at the scene said the wreck occurred around 9:15 a.m.

Authorities said the man was traveling west on U.S. 72 when he lost control of the motorcycle, went off the road and flipped a couple of times.

Officials said the crash was east of Outpost 72.

Center Star volunteer firefighters, along with Shoals Ambulance, state troopers and Lauderdale County sheriff's deputies responded to the wreck.
