Detroit Lakes, MN : A vehicle collision on Highway 210 on Friday, June 23, 2017

A vehicle collision on Highway 210 sent four to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries at 7 p.m. Friday, June 23.

A Chevy Tahoe, driven by Alicia Renee Emerfoll, 18, of Vining, was westbound on Highway 210, approaching the intersection of County Road 34 with the right of way. A Chevy Equinox, driven by Richard Keith Nelson, 87, of Bloomington, was northbound on County Road 35 at the intersection of Highway 210. According to reports, the Equinox pulled out into the path of the Tahoe, and the vehicles made contact in the intersection.

Two passengers in the Tahoe, Emerfoll and Brittney Ann Suchy, 15, of Henning, were transported to Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls with non-life threatening injuries.Two passengers in the Equinox, Nelson and Barbara Lou Nelson, 85, of Bloomington were transported to Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls for non-life threatening injuries.

Everyone involved was wearing a seatbelt, and alcohol is not believed to be a contributing factor to the crash, which occurred on dry pavement.

The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, Underwood Fire, and Ringdahl Ambulance assisted the Minnesota State Patrol with the crash.
