Molalla, OR : Teen driver arrested after DUI crash after he drove his truck with five passengers over a hill and lost control on Friday August 29th 2014
A teen driver was arrested for a DUII after he drove his truck with five passengers over a hill and lost control causing the truck to flip onto a grassy field.
18-year-old Karnily Bodunov, from Woodburn, was driving on S. Palmer Rd. south of Highway 213 at a high rate of speed leading up to the crash.
Officers from Molalla Police Department and Molalla Fire Department responded to assist with the crash where the driver, Bodunov, along with one passenger were injured. The passenger had minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital. Bodunov had head injuries from the crash and had to be taken by Life-Flight to a Portland hospital.
Budunov's condition is unknown at this time.
The other passengers had no injuries and were picked up by their family members. Everyone in the truck admitted to drinking alcohol.
Budunov is being charged with DUII, Reckless Endangering and Assault 4.
