White City, OR: One Injured in White City Crash after rolled over several timea - 23rd October 2014
That's what emergency crews found inside and around a wrecked SUV in White City.
Jackson County Sheriff deputies say it rolled over several times until it came to a rest on its side near the intersection of Antelope and Agate Roads.
Paramedics pulled the unnamed driver from the car and took him to the hospital.
"He just seemed to be, had a head injury, just dizzy and seemed to be disoriented for the most part," Deputy Sheriff Gabe Burchfiel said.
Burchfiel says he could not estimate how much weed was inside the car.
"Based on Oregon law, though, we can not prove or disporve that he had the illegal or legal amount," Burchfiel said.
Authorities still need to speak to the driver before deciding whether criminal charges will be made.
"If we need to go forward with an investigation for something like a DUI or something of that matter, then we have to look into that. But for now, we just don't know," he said.
Burchfiel says it is unknown how the driver lost control turning a corner and why he had so much marijuana in his possession.
The deputy says the man has a medical marijuana card and that based on the amount of pot in the car, the man may have been on his way to a "trimming party
