Florida Highway Patrol has reported that a Virginia man was killed early Friday morning after his motorcycle collided with a car.According to a FHP news release, Robert Bailey, 39, of Panama City Beach, was traveling south on Joan Avenue in a 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe at the time of the 12:35 a.m. fatal accident in Bay County.
As Bailey was making a left-hand turn into the Hala Point Mobile Home Park, he failed to observe Craig Andrew Keup, 25, from Rice, Virginia, traveling north on a 2012 Suzuki motorcycle.
The Suzuki collided with the right front of the Tahoe, throwing Keup — who was wearing a helmet — from the motorcycle into a ditch along Joan Avenue. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin was notified Friday morning.
