DAYTON, OH ; At least 1 injury following head-on crash in Dayton on Sunday, 19th February 2023

At least one person suffered injuries following a head-on crash in Dayton early Sunday evening, according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.Police and medics were dispatched to the intersection of Needmore Road and N. Dixie Drive just before 6 p.m.

Two vehicles were involved and at least one person was hurt, dispatch confirmed to News Center 7.

The vehicles involved suffered heavy front-end damage, according to images from the scene.

The intersection was partially closed but has reopened, according to dispatchers.

The crash remains under investigation.
