Pulaski County, IL : Two people killed in head-on-crash on Route 37 in Pulaski County on Thursday December 17 2015

Illinois State Police are investigating a head-on crash that killed two people early Thursday morning.
Troopers say the accident happened around 5:45 a.m. on Route 37 in Pulaski County about a quarter mile north of Sunset Road.
43-year-old Mike Holmes of Creal Spring, Illinois was headed south on the road when he crossed into the northbound lane and hit another car head-on.
The driver of the other car, 61-year-old Warren McKinney of Mounds, Illinois was pronounced dead at the scene.
Holmes was taken to a local hospital where he died of his injuries.
