DANE COUNTY, WI : A multiple vehicle crash on Interstate 39/90 in Dane County on Wednesday, 30th May 2018

A multiple vehicle crash on Interstate 39/90 in Dane County caused delays on Wednesday afternoon.

The Wisconsin State Patrol said it happened around 2:45 p.m. in the northbound lanes at mile marker 149 between County Highway N exit and U.S. Highway 51 exit for Stoughton.

They could not confirm how many vehicles were involved in the crash, but they said semi-trucks and cars were involved.

They are still investigating what caused the crash.

There’s no word on injuries.

The crash caused traffic to be backed up for at least three miles.
