Deerfield Township, MI : Two people die after car crash in Lapeer County on Monday January 11 2016.
A husband and wife have died in a crash in Lapeer County after their car struck another vehicle coming from the other direction.
The sheriff's department says the victims are 70-year-old James Hinman and 68-year-old Peggy Hinman, both from Columbiaville.
Their Buick was hit by a Subaru Outback Monday night in Deerfield Township, 70 miles north of Detroit. The westbound Buick was hit on the passenger side after crossing into the eastbound lane. Weather may have been a factor.
The 29-year-old driver of the Subaru didn't have serious injuries
