Watford City, N.D : Man dies in rollover crash north of Watford City on Tuesday, December 22, 2015

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a man who was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from his vehicle died in a rollover crash near Watford City.
Authorities say the man on Tuesday was traveling on a county gravel road about 15 miles north of Watford City when failed to maintain control of his pickup truck after he crested a hill and traveled onto a snowy and ice-packed portion of the roadway.
The Highway Patrol says the man's pickup truck slid into the ditch, struck a barbed wire fence and overturned. The man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on 41st Street Northwest in McKenzie County.
The time of the crash is unknown.
The Highway Patrol did not immediately release the man's name Tuesday.
