Jacksonville, FL : Car crashes into power pole causing power outages Sunday, December 25, 2016

About 40 people are without power Christmas Day in the city’s San Jose neighborhood after a car crashed into a power pole, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.

Authorities said the crash damaged the power pole beyond repair and will be replaced. Officials said the new pole will take around five hours to install.

There was no information given regarding the driver or injuries.

No traffic lanes will be closed during the installation.
